About Fantasy Sports Dish

Welcome To Fantasy Sports Dish! At Fantasy Sports Dish, I’ll dish out all of the latest fantasy sports news in regards to fantasy baseball, fantasy basketball, fantasy football as well as other fantasy sports from time to time! That’s not to say I will not be ranting either. You’ll also, occasionally, see a rant or two about fantasy sports, how my fantasy teams are performing/under performing, my favorite sports and the stupid/crazy stuff pro athletes do.

Who Runs Fantasy Sports Dish?

Fantasy Sports Dish is mainly written by me, Lightfoot Simmons. Obviously, this is just an online alias as to not tip off any of my league managers that I am competing against in my fantasy sports leagues. I’m an avid fantasy sports player and have been since 1996. I am currently active in fantasy sports leagues for baseball, basketball and football year round.

How Did You Get Started With Fantasy Sports?

I first got started with fantasy sports in 1996 with a website called Small World Fantasy Sports with my first fantasy sport being baseball. Small World offered you fantasy sports leagues where you had a salary cap to pick a certain amount of players for each position. Based on their popularity and how their performances went, you either gained or lost money. I still consider it one of the better sites that I participated with in regards to fantasy sports websites. Now, I actively play in fantasy sports leagues on CBSSportsline.com, ESPN.com, NBA.com, NFL.com and more.

Why Did You Start Fantasy Sports Dish?

I decided to start this blog to provide information for all of the new fantasy sports enthusiasts out there that are constantly looking for their fantasy news and opinions from one website. Hopefully, I can also provide the avid experienced fantasy sports players some quality information as well.

Please be sure to stay in touch with me as I’m going to make every effort to provide you with all of the latest news and opinions in the fantasy sports world for baseball, basketball, football as well as other fantasy sports. Stay tuned!
