If you’re like me, you need a lot of help this Sunday. My opponent threw this squad at me on Friday: Chris Johnson, LaDainian Tomlinson, Antonio Gates, Vince Young and Rob Bironas. I countered with Nate Kaeding and Vincent Jackson, but I’m going to need some big performances to keep pace with that RB duo.

That’s a 10-team league though. These guys listed below aren’t going to help me any in that shallow of a league. But if you play in a 14-team or 16-team league and are scrambling for replacements this Sunday morning, here are a few players available in 90 percent of Fleaflicker leagues that may give you a few points this weekend.

If you’re looking for help in your deep league, the obvious attention of your affection should be Cleveland Brown running back Chris Jennings. He hasn’t put up great numbers to date, but when opportunity knocks, sometimes that’s all that matters in fantasy football. In his only extended action this season, Jennings totaled 74 yards on 15 touches (10 rushes, five receptions) against the Lions in Week 11.

A cake matchup earlier in the season, San Diego (Cleveland’s opponent this week) has done much better against the run lately, now ranking in the middle of the NFL in that category. However, backs that receive double-digit carries are nothing to sneeze at, even if they do play for a terrible offense. I recommend adding him if available in your 14-team or deeper leagues.
